As the Product Manager, Cabin Crew Operations, you’ll be instrumental in shaping the day-of-flight digital experience for cabin crew across Air Canada and Air Canada Rouge.

Your primary objective is to implement digital products that empower cabin crew nationwide with real-time, contextual, and connected tools, elevating Air Canada’s onboard experience. Working closely with other Product Managers, you’ll develop a cohesive product vision and roadmap for both hardware and applications.

Responsibilities:

As the Product Manager for Cabin Crew Operations at Air Canada and Air Canada Rouge, you will be entrusted with leading the digital product vision and roadmap. Your role will be pivotal in shaping the future of cabin crew operations, ensuring seamless integration of digital solutions to enhance efficiency and elevate the onboard experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Developing Product Vision: Spearhead the development of a comprehensive product vision for cabin crew operations, aligning it with the overall business objectives and passenger experience goals.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including cabin crew, SOC (System Operations Control), Product, and IFS (In-Flight Services) management, to gather insights, validate requirements, and ensure alignment with operational needs.

Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept ideation to launch and beyond. Make informed decisions about feature prioritization, enhancements, and retirement based on evolving business needs and user feedback.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
Utilize user research and analytics to formulate the overall product strategy, aligning it with business objectives and assessing technical feasibility, including cabin crew, SOC, Product, and IFS management, to ensure a unified approach to product development.
Manage the product lifecycle, making informed decisions on new features and product direction to support strategic goals.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration) or equivalent experience in Aviation and/or Technology.
5+ Years of Experience: You should possess a minimum of five years of relevant experience in either Aviation or Technology. Experience in both fields is advantageous, with a strong preference for candidates who have experience specifically in In-Flight Services.
Product Management Expertise: Demonstrated success in product management or related roles is essential. Preferably, you should have a track record of effectively leading product initiatives within the aviation or transportation industry.

Results-Oriented Mindset: A results-oriented mindset, coupled with a history of achieving success in product management roles, is highly valued. Candidates should demonstrate a proactive approach to driving business outcomes and delivering value to stakeholders.
Adaptability: The ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances, market conditions, and business requirements is essential. Candidates should thrive in environments where priorities may shift rapidly, and flexibility is paramount.
