Job Title: Production & Packaging Worker

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $19.00-$19.50 per hour

Language Requirement: English (preferred)
Responsibilities:
.Pre-assembly of production lines and set up of belts.
.Feeding raw materials into production machinery.
.Monitoring the production process and ensuring quality standards are met.
.Packing finished goods for shipping.
.Applying labels and conducting basic quality checks.
.Storing goods and raw materials properly in the warehouse.
.Disassembling machinery and equipment for sanitation purposes.
.Adhering to good manufacturing practices and safety guidelines.
.Other tasks as assigned by Production Manager or Supervisor.
Qualifications and Skills:
.Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate well with others.
.Capacity to follow instructions and maintain a positive attitude.
.Physically capable of lifting up to thirty pounds unassisted and performing repetitive tasks.
.Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and around machinery.
.Reliable transportation and punctuality.
.Strong communication skills and basic education.
.Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment is an asset.
Education and Experience:
Effective communication skills with colleagues, supervisors, and administration.
Familiarity with industrial environments, particularly food production facilities.
Dress code requirements include steel-toe boots, hair nets, and lab coats.
Application Requirements:
.Residency in the greater Vernon area (Lumby, Armstrong, Lake Country included).
.Possession of a valid BC driver’s license and access to a vehicle for daily commute.
Schedule:
.Full-time, permanent position.
.Monday to Friday shifts, 9:30 am to 6:00 pm, with overtime hours.
.Weekend work may be required as needed.
Work Location: In-person at Coldstream, BC, V1B 3C8.
