Job Title: Data Intern
Location: Abuja (FCT)
Job Descriptions
- Responsible for collecting, analyzing, and summarizing, sensitive data by identifying sector risks for investment advisory purposes.
- Providing information to support analysts, consultants, and stakeholders.
Key Roles
- Support projects by performing quantitative analysis and other data sources to research, model, and recommend solutions
- Assisting in the coordination of and obtaining feedback on public engagements
- Generate custom datasets, reports, and visualizations that solve clients’ most pressing challenges
- Communicate key insights and recommendations to team lead and consult on how to use data to make data-driven decisions
- Transcribing meetings
- Contribute to positive team culture by participating in team-building activities and being a supportive and empathetic colleague
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidates must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree required in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related fields
- Minimum of 1+ years of relevant working experience in research, or analysis
- Knowledge of data extraction and visualization
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in use of spreadsheet, database, and presentation applications including Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of data analytics software or R, SQL, Python
