Job Title: Manager – IP Security Operations

Location: Golden Plaza, Lagos

Job Description

• Support the Shareholder return strategy by developing and implementing Network Group Processes that are aligned to achieving all elements on the business score card. (I.e. Grow Market Share, Grow ICT & Data Revenue, Increase EBITDA margins, Assure Revenue, CAPEX Returns Management and Net Subscriber Additions).

• Drive planned strategy for the successful delivery of MTN Group and MTNN transformation initiatives focusing on Customer centricity, including Perfect 10 Project.
• Serve the Division’s internal customers and provide solutions to improve the customer experience.
• Interface with other departments within Network Group, as well as the IS Group and assist in problem-solving in the MPLS WAN and IP LAN with specific emphasis on security.
• Strategic Partnerships with MTNN leadership team to drive awareness on expected behaviors and impact on non-compliance on bottom line results and company image/reputation.
• Network and build solid relationships with internal units and relevant third parties (e.g. strategic investors, technical and finance partners, business consultants etc.) and develop a close working relationship with relevant information sources to provide an integrated service.
• Coordinate, coach and influence external partners and essential support departments across MTNN’s business units to deliver a seamless pre-sales and post-sales service experience.
• Assist in selecting suitable technology vendor in terms of technical compliance, in line with departmental rules and regulations and in collaboration with Procurement.
• Deployment, installation, configuration, manages, and maintains mission critical enterprise firewalls, IPS, VPN and other technical controls.
• Scrutinize customer design and determine impact on the MTN network in terms of security / assist customer in designing a secure solution for interaction between customer system and MTN network.
• Operate, maintain and document IP security guidelines, procedures and policies, and implement network security best practices.
• Maintain and manage Firewall, access lists administration policies.

Minimum Qualification

• Candidates should posses BEng, BTech or HND qualification.

Experience & Training:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an area of specialization; with experience in supervising/managing others.
• Experience working in a medium to large organization.
• experience in Networking Security Environment, including VPNs, Cisco ASA firewalls/Checkpoint firewalls, VPN solutions, IPsec, Fortinet, Tacacs+ and Access-Lists, Load Balancing, Patch Management
• Proven network security architecture knowledge across multiple security domains.
• Experience in multi-vendor network operations
• Solid security experience essential.

Job Title: Engineer, Data Services Support

Location: Golden Plaza, Lagos

Job Description   

• Anticipates problems and proffers solutions before the problems occur by gathering and analyzing data.
• Develop optimal and cost-effective Mobile Data Network strategy for MTNN, ensuring Mobile Data projects match marketing and sales requirements.
• Analyze and provide information on bandwidth usage, user application/experience and critical upgrades on the Mobile Data Network.
• Monitor adherence to processes and procedures to ensure conformance to best practices, thereby identifying opportunities for improvements.
• Coordinate the implementation of Mobile Data Network planning functions to achieve the quality and key performance indicators (KPIs), as well as marketing and sales targets defined by the business.
• Coordinate vendor-related emergency maintenance on Mobile Data Network.
• Oversee constant tracking, monitoring and resolving of faults on the Mobile/Enterprise Data Network.
• Oversee proper implementation of change requests and planned work.
• Understand the telecommunication industry local trends and developments, thereby assessing the impact on MTN’s current and future business.
• Monitor performance statistics and generate weekly reports, providing monthly and quarterly progress updates on Mobile Data projects.
• Support relevant units to develop the required contractual documents for Mobile Data projects, ensuring Mobile Data projects are implemented in accordance with the agreed plan and strategy.
• Provide high availability of the MTN Nigeria Packet Data Network through effective operation, proactive and reactive maintenance of the Packet Core and network service infrastructure to achieve strategic business objectives.

Job Requirements
Minimum Qualification:

• BEng, BTech or HND

Experience & Training:

• Minimum 3 years of GSM / WCDMA / 4G LTE-TDD & FDD / 5G Telecoms Experience.
• Experience in Ericsson Evolved Packet Core, NFVI and SDN Cloud Protocols, Devices and Certifications.
• Experience in UNIX / Linux Systems, SGSN / MME, DSC, F5 DNS, GGSN / EPG / PGW / SGW, DPI/SACC, Standards and Technologies
• Experience in F5 (DNS), Radius (AAA), PCRF (SAPC), DSC, VoLTE and IMS Service Nodes.
• Experience working on complex, commercially sensitive Mobile Data Network projects (e.g., technology evaluations / integration, due diligence, etc.)
• Experience in support of a multi-vendor Mobile Data Network and Enterprise environment.

Job Title: Senior Manager, Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning

Location: Lagos

Job Description

• Guide the business in the creation and implementation of sound and consistent financial close and reporting processes across multiple Oracle Cloud ERP modules.
• Develop and maintain ERP Cloud Master Data Management strategy at the enterprise level by establishing, guiding and championing enterprise-wide governance and promotes single-source-of-truth, data-driven utilization of all integrated systems and data across the organization.
• Represent the OPCO in the Group Cloud ERP quarterly release forum by proactively managing and resolving potential issues and risks and protecting OPCO’s investments on the Oracle Cloud ERP platform and other downstream systems.
• Proactively manage opt in and mandatory features in upcoming Oracle quarterly releases and manage the impact (people, process, data) at the OPCO to maximize return on investment, minimize disruption to ongoing BAU.
• Liaise with Global Process Leads, Business Enablement and other Global Process owners to identify and promote delivery of new functional demands from MTNN and drive the delivery through SDLC lifecycle.
• Provide leadership in the areas of planning, scheduling, coordinating, tracking and status reporting of tasks in support of Cloud ERP deployment of new functionalities arising from GT maintain and demand processes.
• Drive the incident and problem management process across multiple service delivery platforms in support of optimum customer experience on Cloud ERP platform among multiple and diverse stakeholders such as OPCO IT Service delivery team, Boost Central process leads, Oracle ACS vendor, Oracle OEM etc.
• Proactively promote Oracle Cloud ERP knowledge management within the OPCO by maintaining repository for knowledge documentation and dissemination.
• Take ownership of the OPCO Master Data Management Governance Committee and work with other key stakeholders such as Departmental functional leads, Central MDM, GSSC CoE, OPCO Risk and Compliance, Information Security, Regulatory unit to establish continued review and confirmation of data asset catalog, data privacy, data ownership, integration roadmap, storage and archiving needs.
• Establish and maintain OPCO’s Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) processes and procedures to maintain Oracle Cloud ERP infrastructure such as User provisioning process, roles management and rules for segregation of duties etc.

Job Title: Specialist Engineering Support Services

Location: Golden Plaza, Lagos

Job Description

• Management of Critical Power Infrastructure in Switching Center and Data Center
• Ensure that power and cooling system parameters at MTNN installations and leased property within the region are within MTNN specifications.
• Ensure spare power capacity is available for redundancy and future installations and provide 2nd level support to regional operations in assigned areas/ region.
• Maintain optimal performance of all cooling and power systems within the region. (Switch & BTS).
• Conduct routine maintenance of all power and cooling systems at MTNN installations and leased property within assigned area and ensure they are within MTN Specifications.
• Produce monthly reports on ESS activities within the region.
• Assist to direct the implementation and maintenance of efficient management information system for ESS operations in the assigned region.
• Coordinate data gathering for the duration of Local Power Distribution i.e., power outages, power consumptions for the rural and urban BTS / TX sites including the switching centers within the assigned region.
• Monitor maintenance contracts for regional contractors.
• Ensure continuous improvement of processes and procedures to foster efficiency of ESS operations within the assigned region.
• Ensure value is created through effective stakeholder management.
