Job Title: Engineering Graduate Intern

Job Overview

  • An integrated technical (Architectural, Engineering and Constructions) company seeks to fill the position of Engineering Interns.

Job Description

  • Work as part of a team and provide support roles in engineering services.
  • Participate in construction/engineering operations with strict adherence to plans.
  • Undertake tasks related to specific areas of technical expertise or responsibility.
  • Ensure the use of appropriate methodologies, systems and techniques in the performance of the job with strict compliance to regulation and standards.
  • Ensure quality, adequacy and appropriateness of materials and equipment used for all works to ensure acceptable standard of delivery.
  • Produce and/or review drawings, including working drawings, shop drawings and drawings for temporary works, and recommend appropriate modifications as necessary.
  • Assist in the review of designs, technical specifications, relevant calculations, costs and quantities to assist decision making.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or closely related disciplines (Master’s Degree is an added advantage).

  • Proficiency in use of relevant engineering software, tools and equipment to deliver high quality error-free work.
  • Strong working knowledge of relevant constructions/engineering laws, codes, regulations and documentation requirements
  • Ability to make technical computations and calculations involving the application of engineering principles.
  • Certification in project management is an added advantage.
  • Ability to use relevant engineering software e.g. AUTOCAD, REVIT STRUCTURE or REVIT MEP.

Job Title: Group Head, Human Capital & Administration

Job Description

  • Provide leadership and have management oversight of the Human Resources and Administrative function in the Group.
  • Ensure attraction and retention of the right talent, including managing the recruitment and selection process.
  • Handle job designs in collaboration with line managers, and where necessary, review job descriptions to ensure relevance and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Develop, review, communicate and monitor the implementation of HR policies, processes and procedures.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Develop, control and monitor the HR and Admin budget for the Group.
  • Assess training needs and recommend or implement appropriate training programmes within the allocated budget.

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience at least 6 of which must be in a core HR capacity.
  • Possession of professional certification from any of CIPM or its foreign equivalents (e.g. SHRM, CIPD, HRCI) is required.
  • Generalist experience in key HR functions including recruitment and selection, compensation and benefits, performance management, learning and development, exit management etc.
  • Good working knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Good knowledge of HRIS systems.
  • Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Job Description

  • Oversee end-to-end procurement process with adherence to procurement policy, procedures and guidelines.
  • Source and manage suppliers and vendors including to maintain and update a database of them on behalf of the organisation.
  • Develop procurement strategies that satisfactorily address business needs.
  • Periodically evaluate vendor performance and drive competitiveness among vendors.
  • Coordinate with departments/end users and establish specifications prior to procurement.
  • Approve and follow up on purchase orders, ensuring on-time delivery of goods and in good condition.
  • Negotiate prices of goods and services to achieve cost effectiveness and value for money pricing arrangements.
  • Review contracts and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and demand accountabilities from vendors and suppliers for contractual agreement breaches or SLA gaps as applicable.
  • Effectively manage shipment of goods including to liaise with suppliers for proper documentation and timely clearance.
