Job Title: Loan Collections Officer

Job Descriptions
- We are currently looking for passionate individuals who have a flair for debit recovery to join a fast growing team in Lagos.
- You will be working as our Loan Recovery Agent in our Lending team.
- You will be based in Lagos and working with our other Customer Success representatives, as well as our other teams based in Paris & India.
- Your mission is to support the business while we continue to be the #1 choice for digital lending in Nigeria.
- You will do this by ensuring that customers with delinquent loans are contacted, negotiate overdue payments and carry out necessary actions that initiates recovery.
- We also need a folk who is going to help improve the team’s overall collections rate.
Key Roles
- Plan course of action to recover outstanding payments
- Follow up with customers for all outstanding payments and identify problematic accounts.
- Ensures Non-Performing Loans are followed up and monitored diligently.
- Responsible for communicating with delinquent borrowers, establishing and developing effective payment plans with the delinquent borrowers.
- Listen actively to customers and ensure conversation is collection driven.
- Advise customers on their payment options and best methods of payment.
- Properly document information from the conversation.
- Negotiate payoff deadlines or payment plans
- Create trust relationships with debtors when possible to avoid future issues
Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years and above experience in microfinance operations directly dealing with delinquent clients and other problem-solving situations.
- Apt in negotiating and persuading.
- Good knowledge of the collection process and approach.
- Excellent collaborator and team player
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to adapt to new challenges in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects.
- You may have understanding / working knowledge of a collections system (advantageous)
- You should be comfortable skills in Microsoft office.
- You should have working experience within an outbound debt collections environment / outbound sales environment / outbound customer service environment.

Job Title: Head of Card Operations
Location: Lagos

Job Title: Business Analyst, Retail Banking
Location: Lagos

Job Descriptions
- Developing SQL code/Python, R scripts to interrogate our data to solve key business problems.
- Proactively bringing new ideas to the table relating to business questions, analytics approaches, datasets and ways of working.
- Assessing opportunities, understanding behaviour, testing hypotheses with data analysis.
- Communicate analysis, relevant trends and operational performances to internal as well as external stakeholders and across the business.
- Forecasting and scenario planning to create a data-driven performance from historic and current data.

- You have the ability to deal with ambiguity & form ambiguous questions into defined solutions to improve the business area.
- You have excellent communication skills and the ability to explain results from your analysis in layman’s language to business users.
- You have a high level of SQL Proficiency – You’re good at quickly getting a grasp of any dataset that you’re working with & support other analysts to do so, Python/R is a plus.
- You have a good understanding of the business – you quickly identify which metrics are relevant for an area and anticipate which data projects will add value.
- You have the ability to effectively form relationships with the business in order to help with the adoption of data-driven decision making.
- You have experience building models and dashboards to tight timelines and embedding these in operations to inform real-time business decisions.
- You have experience capturing stakeholder requirements across various levels of seniority and functions and building appropriate analytical solutions.
- You have strong data visualization skills, including knowledge of self-serve tools like Tableau or similar.
- You’re a self-starter – you take initiative in spotting opportunities and finding ways to solve challenges with data.
