Job Title: Senior iOS Developer
Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Contract
Job Descriptions
- Implement robust app architectures and complex user interfaces.
- Component Design and coding new features. includes unit tests, debugging and solving defects.
- Component Design/Coding/Unit Testing/Debugging
- Constantly research and adopt new technologies/best practices.
- Strong and innovative approach to problem-solving and finding solutions.
- Ability to multi-task under pressure and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Work on high-performance consumer-facing apps
- Understanding of available framework(s) for application development on the iOS platform
- Follow best coding practices using Apple Programming Guidelines
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
Requirements and Qualifications
- Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree qualification
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in iOS development
- Proficient with Objective-C or Swift {{depending on project requirements}}, and Cocoa Touch
- Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.
- A knack for benchmarking and optimization
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {{such as Git}}
- Familiarity with continuous integration.
- Strong knowledge about Core Frameworks like Core Data, GCD, NS Operation Queue, Core Graphics, Core Animation, UIKit, AV Kit, and AV Foundation.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, data structures, and design patterns Proficiency in iOS application development
- Published apps on the iOS store are an advantage.
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
- Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards
- Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
- Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is a plus
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
Salary
- N250,000 – N500,000 Monthly.
