We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Assistant Accountant
Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Descriptions
- Collaborate with financial manager and other team members to successfully execute various accounting tasks
- Maintain company ledgers and daily financial transactions.
- Create financial documents such as invoices, payables, receivables and purchase orders and payment vouchers.
- Identify discrepancies in ledgers and accounts, tracking them to the spruce and correcting them.
- Manage payroll activities and release salaries.
- Coordinate and manage payment and billing details of external service providers, contractors and vendors
- Verify payments and deposits made through the company account and reconcile with the bank.
- Create daily reports for management and team members.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports
Job Requirements
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree qualification.
- At least 2 years related work experience as an accountant in a FCMG company.
- Knowledge of SAP software is a great advantage and clear understanding of accounting principles.
Salary
N50, 000 – N70, 000 monthly
